On August 12, 2025, a delegation from the Small Business Association of Jamaica (SBAJ) paid a courtesy call on Counsellor Wang at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Kingston. The meeting was also attended by First Secretary Ms. Liu Ying and an embassy representative.
The SBAJ delegation included President Mr. Garnett Reid, Second Vice President Ms. Dennise Williams, Mr. Edward Chin-Mook, Ms. Althea McPherson, Ms. Shauna-Gay Mitchell, Mr. Lionel Campbell, Mrs. Erica Campbell, Ms. Veniesh Wallace, Ms. Shaun Grant, and interns Alain Barrant and Cristo Thompson.
This courtesy visit marked another step in strengthening bilateral cooperation and business partnerships between Jamaica and China. The discussions focused on expanding opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), promoting knowledge exchange, and exploring trade and investment initiatives that align with SBAJ’s mission to empower Jamaican entrepreneurs and foster global collaboration.
